Meet Melison St. Claire
Raised in New York City with roots in the Caribbean, Melison draws inspiration from both the vibrant individuality of city life and the warmth of island heritage. With over a decade of experience in high-end staging and a career that began in fashion and window styling, Melison is known for his discerning eye, layered approach, and instinct for what feels timeless.
As a Design Manager, he's led countless fast-paced luxury staging projects, managing teams and executing full scale interiors. Experience that brings precision, polish, and a deep understanding of what makes a home feel not only beautiful but alive.
Melison launched this studio to offer his unique design lens to a broader clientele. A desire to design spaces that tell stories, evoke emotion, and elevate everyday living.
Meet Steven Messan
At just 21, Steven moved to New York after studying business and real estate, driven by a desire to seize new opportunities. It was there that he met Melison, with whom he shared his vision of opening a French restaurant in the city.
Through this exchange, Steven discovered a new way of seeing space not just as structure, but as emotion, energy, and endless possibility.
As their conversations deepened, they realized a striking alignment in their creative visions and design philosophies. From this connection, a more ambitious idea was born: to open a studio together.
Two worlds came together, united by a pursuit of beauty, precision, and detail. That moment didn't just shape Steven's career it shaped the person he became: someone who leads with clarity, curiosity, and a profound respect for craftsmanship.
Together, they founded St. Claire et La Pierre, a studio built on trust, intention, and a timeless approach to design.
